The Afrikaans Toolbox

I am extremely excited to be launching ( soon) The Afrikaans Tool Box. It is designed to be a helpful tool which will help your child in Afrikaans , as part of their learning. Over the years of having my own 4 sons in primary school and now high school and tutoring children in primary school, I have learnt a great deal about children and the learning process. I have discovered the traps children often fall into with Afrikaans and where they struggle. I am passionate about  people. I believe that we can all build into each others lives in a helpful and possitive way. I know and have experienced the success children have when we support and encourage them in any area including learning, especially when they struggle. 

Many children do not like learning Afrikaans.

I hopt that The Afrikaans Tool Box will help change this.

Afrikaans is a beautiful language. My hope is  that The Afrikaans Tool box will support children in discovering for themselves that learning can be fun. 

The Afrikaans Tool Box is designed to support  the CAPS curriculum. It will be available this year in 2015.
